Director of Product at Kidoz, where I am responsible for managing the life cycle of entire company's portfolio.
I do user research, design the features, write requirement documentation, manage the development, QA, content and other departments, hands on with data analysis and optimization.
The main products I design and manage:
- Cross platform Mobile App - iOS, Android, Phones and Tablets
- SDK - content recommendation platform for other developers
- Dashboard and Backend services for publishers, advertisers and operators
- Main website
A full scale, in house, self funded production of a casual cross-platform game for iOS, Android and Facebook which I designed and managed myself.
This game is built for fun and short cycles of engagement, while including monetization models and viral features.
I am mostly proud of the custom made data system that allows complete and fast analysis of user behvior - on-boarding, retention, monetization, engagement and more.
About the game - Unique puzzler with humorous theme of the BEADZ, a pack of creatures travelling around the world and miss home. It is up to you, the player, to lead them through dozens of levels and overcome challenges on their way.

Beadz - Producer and GD
A unique project that combines a physical product and a digital one to create enhanced experience.
Besides the original story I have written, based on my own experiences as a father, I am working on the creation of an interactive experience that combines both education and fun for kids at ages 1-5, as part of their first encounters with technology.
I teach User Experience Design.
UX is more than just cognitive principles, wire-framing,
requirement documentation and mobile first -
it is about asking the right person the right question.
One of my very first questions to ask the students (typically graphic designers) is "Have you ever used or purchased a product you designed or worked for?".
When they realize they did not, they begin to understand that without getting to know the user, they cannot plan the best experience.
This is what UX is all about for me.

An original AAA First Person Shooter title I designed and built from scratch by myself using the Unreal engine in full 3D, featuring 40 minutes of game-play, multiple levels, artificial intelligent algorithms for the enemies and more.
My Role: Producer, Game Design, Level Designer and everything else.

888 - Game Designer, Marketing Manager

As the Game Designer of Bingo Island, a social Bingo and Slots game on Facebook at Mytopia (888holdings), I was in charge of the game's road map, feature design and documentation, data and funnels analysis, Statistics, Monetization, slots configuration, user experience, economy balance and much more.
After 11 months, I became the Marketing Manager for all of Mytopia's social games - Poker, Casino, Bingo and Backgammon, handling the marketing from texting and creative to the CPI, CPA, retention and optimization performances.

Metal Compass™ hired me as a Game Design Consultant in order to create the economy and weaponry balancing sheet for their iPhone multiplayer, location based, "tag"/shooting game, called ATK.
I also developed the single player/practice mode and analytics architecture.
Come2Play™ required assistance with funnels (retention, acquisition and monetization) design for their new Backgammon and Chess games, as well as with analytics design.
As a Graduate of UX/UI academy of Netcraft™ (Israel, Early 2014), the most important thing I have learned is that the user is always right and should be listened to. However, it is my profession and expertise to sort through his emotional response and see the real problem using analytical tools and logic, then fix it.
The course of study included market research, persona identification, system architecture, wire-framing and prototyping in Axure, usability and system testing, user mental states, interface design for different platforms, responsive design, E-commerce, Design trends and more.

Educational Game For Kids

Leading a team of 7 people I recruited myself with mere $1,500, I created an educational application for kids over Android Tablets, designed to create a positive visit experience at the dentist.
My Role: Producer, Game, characters and GUI designer, QA
The app was tested as a pilot in Israel's leading dental clinic chain "Clalit Smile", and the entire clinic itself was internally deisgned under the inspiration of the app.
An iPhone trivia game of logo recognition riddles for the Israeli market, designed to touch the community sense and patriotism of the target audience.
The game features a unique visual design, in-app purchases, social features, its own economy and scoring system, level unlocking, variety of level types and content twists.
My role: Owner, Producer, Game designer.

Israelogo - iPhone Trivia Game
Airborne Systems Engineering

As a System Engineer at Elbit Systems, I have been leading the design, UX and development process of Helicopters airborne systems, pilots' flight applications and "smart" monitors for 4 years.
Leading the development included user research (pilots, customers), writing and handling extensive requirement documentation, GUI design, risk mitigation, HW, SW, QA, testers and other teams' management, cooperating with international clients and committees and more.
A tweak of an old and familiar game mechanics I’ve designed, programmed and tested myself as part of my interest of knowing new platforms and game technologies.
The purpose of this non-commercial game was to teach me about Unity3D platform, game design and the process of game making.

Game of Balls - Game Design
After completing a 6 month pastry and confectionary chef training, I founded my very own hand made chocolate business called "Chocola", alongside my wife to be.
As the head chef and business manager I was inventing my own recipes, working the kitchen, selling the products and handling the logistics and finance. An important part of the business was also taking care of branding, marketing, workshops and photography of catalogs.
My role: Owner, head chef, marketing and sales.
As part of creating games I learned how to design and create basic 3D models using 3dMax and SpeedTree, import and use them in my games, along with other side skills such as video editing, sound effects creation and more.
